Asif Aftab is the founder of Inovada. His background is unusual in the Odoo world: nearly two decades in financial risk management and compliance, working across international financial institutions, before transitioning into ERP consultancy. His financial governance foundation includes part-qualified ACCA training alongside his career in international financial risk management.
That financial governance background shapes how every Inovada engagement is run. Where many Odoo consultants think purely in terms of module configuration, Asif thinks in terms of financial controls, approval hierarchies, audit trails, and operational reporting, the discipline that turns a software rollout into a system a business can actually rely on.
After moving into ERP delivery, Asif spent five years at an official Odoo partner in the UAE, progressing from functional consultant through project management to Business Director. During that time he served as lead implementer on 30+ engagements in property, facilities, trading, and professional services, across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United States. He is based in Dubai, UAE.
